# How to Delete Comments on TikTok (Plus Pin, Find and Folded Comments)

To delete a comment on TikTok, **press and hold the comment** and tap **Delete**. You can delete your own comments on any video, and any comment left on your own videos. On a computer, hover over the comment, click the **…** menu and choose **Delete**. Deleted comments are removed for everyone and can't be restored.

1. Open the video and tap the **comment** icon.
2. Press and hold the comment.
3. Tap **Delete**, then confirm if asked.

## How to delete many comments at once

On your own videos, TikTok lets you manage comments in bulk:

1. Open the comments on your video.
2. Press and hold one comment, or tap the **pencil / edit** icon at the top of the comment panel.
3. Tap **Manage multiple comments**, select up to 100 comments, then tap **Delete**. The same screen can **Block** the accounts that wrote them.

## How to see your comments on TikTok

TikTok doesn't have a single "my comments" list in every region. Two ways that work:

- **Activity center or comment history.** On recent versions, go to **Profile > menu (three lines) > Activity center** and look for **Comment history**. If you don't see it, it hasn't reached your account yet.
- **Download your data.** In **Settings and privacy > Account > Download your data**, request a file. It includes the comments you've posted.

## How to pin a comment on TikTok

You can pin one comment to the top of each of your own videos.

- **Phone:** press and hold the comment, then tap **Pin comment**. Pinning another one replaces it.
- **Computer:** open the video on tiktok.com, hover over the comment, click **…** and choose **Pin**. If it's not offered on the website, pin from the app.

"Pinned" on TikTok means one of two things: a **pinned comment** sits at the top of a video's comments with a "Pinned" or "Pinned by creator" label, and a **pinned video** sits at the top of a profile grid. You can pin up to three videos on your profile from the video's **three dots > Pin**.

## What are folded comments on TikTok?

Folded comments are collapsed rather than deleted. They sit behind a link at the bottom of the comment section, and you tap it to read them. TikTok folds comments it predicts are spam, off-topic or likely to break its guidelines, and comments can also be folded after reports or by your own keyword filters. Folding a comment doesn't hurt the video's reach.

To control what appears under your videos, go to **Settings and privacy > Privacy > Comments**. You can filter spam and offensive comments, add keywords to filter, or choose who can comment.

## How to post GIFs or pictures in TikTok comments

Some accounts see a GIF or image button next to the emoji button in the comment box; others don't, as TikTok rolls these features out gradually. If yours doesn't have one, a keyboard with built-in GIF search (such as Gboard or the GIPHY keyboard) may let you insert one, depending on your phone. Plain emoji always work.
