To remove a repost on TikTok, open the video, tap the **Share** arrow and tap **Remove repost**. The video leaves your Reposts tab and stops being shown to your followers as your repost. The creator's original video isn't affected.

There's **no button to remove all reposts at once** at the time of writing: no select-all and no multi-select. To clear them all, go through your Reposts tab and remove them one by one.

## How to undo a repost on TikTok

1. Go to your **Profile**.
2. Tap the **Reposts** tab (the circular-arrows icon).
3. Open the video you want to remove.
4. Tap the **Share** arrow on the right.
5. Tap **Remove repost** (it's where the Repost button was).

The yellow Repost icon turns back to normal, which confirms it's gone. You can also do this from the video in your feed if you reposted it by accident.

## How to delete all reposts on TikTok

TikTok doesn't offer bulk removal. The fastest manual method:

1. Open the Reposts tab and tap the newest repost.
2. Tap Share, then Remove repost.
3. Swipe up to the next video in your Reposts tab and repeat.

With practice it's about two seconds per video. If you have hundreds, do it in sessions.

### What about apps that delete all reposts?

Some third-party apps and browser extensions offer to clear every repost in one go. They need access to your TikTok account to do it, which carries privacy and security risks, and automated actions can get an account temporarily limited. If you use one, check its reviews and permissions, never give it your password directly, and remove its access afterwards.

## How to make reposts private on TikTok

There's no setting to hide just your reposts at the time of writing, and no way to remove the Reposts tab. Your options:

- **Remove the reposts** you don't want seen.
- **Make your account private** in **Settings and privacy > Privacy > Private account**. Only approved followers then see your activity, including reposts.
- **Check your app's privacy settings.** TikTok adds and renames options often, so look under **Settings and privacy > Privacy** for any repost or activity settings in your version.

## How to turn off reposts on TikTok

You can't stop yourself from seeing the Repost button, but you can stop others from reposting **your** videos. Open your video, tap **...** > **Privacy settings**, and turn off reposting where the option is shown. You can also restrict who can see the video, which limits reposts too.

## Why remove reposts?

- You reposted something by accident (it's easy to tap).
- Your Reposts tab no longer matches your brand.
- You want followers to see your own videos first, not shares.

For a business or creator account, keeping the profile focused on your own work usually helps. Schedule For You can keep that work flowing: upload finished TikTok videos and photo posts, set times, and the queue publishes them, so your profile fills with your content rather than reposts. It doesn't manage reposts; those stay in the TikTok app.
