# Data Deletion Instructions

> How to delete the data Schedule For You stores about you, disconnect Facebook, Instagram and other platforms, and request deletion of your whole account.

Disconnect a single platform yourself in seconds, or ask us to delete your whole account.

You can remove the data Schedule For You stores about you in three ways. None of them deletes anything already published on your social accounts; manage published posts on each platform.

## 1. Disconnect a platform

1. Sign in to Schedule For You.
2. Open the **Accounts** screen.
3. Choose the account and disconnect it.

This immediately deletes that account's access token and stored profile details from our database, and we can no longer publish to it.

## 2. Remove our access from Facebook or Instagram

1. On Facebook, go to **Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations** (or **Accounts Center → Apps and websites**).
2. Find **Schedule For You** and choose **Remove**.
3. Then email us (step 3 below) if you also want the data we stored about that account deleted.

## 3. Delete your whole account

Email **[privacy@scheduleforyou.com](mailto:privacy@scheduleforyou.com)** from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will:

- cancel any active subscription, so you aren't charged again;
- delete your account, workspaces you own, posts, media, connected accounts and tokens, API keys, webhooks and feeds;
- confirm by email once it's done.

We complete deletion within 30 days. Copies in database backups expire on a rolling basis after that. We keep only the billing records we're required to keep for tax and accounting.

If you're a member of someone else's workspace, deleting your account removes you from it, but the posts and media in that workspace belong to its owner.
