## How our social media scheduler pricing works
Schedule For You has three plans. Free costs nothing and connects 3 accounts with up to 10 scheduled posts waiting at a time. Solo costs $19 a month for up to 15 connected accounts, and Studio costs $59 a month for up to 100 connected accounts, team members and priority support. Solo and Studio include unlimited scheduling and every feature, and both start with a 7-day free trial.

### Free: $0
Free is for trying the habit of planning ahead. You get the composer with a tailored caption for each platform, the queue with posting slots, the calendar, first comments, threads, Stories and the media library, on up to 3 connected accounts. Up to 10 posts can be scheduled at a time; drafts and posts you publish right away don't count. No card is needed. Posts published from a Free workspace end with a short "Scheduled with Schedule For You" line and a link back to us, added only when it fits the platform's character limit.

### Solo: $19 a month
Solo suits a creator, freelancer or small business running its own channels. You get 15 connected accounts, which covers one profile on each of the 10 supported platforms with room for a second brand or a few extra profiles, plus unlimited scheduling, bulk upload, automation and client tools. Posts go out exactly as you wrote them.

### Studio: $59 a month
Studio is for agencies, in-house teams and anyone managing many brands. It raises the limit to 100 connected accounts, lets you invite team members to work alongside you, and adds priority support.

### Monthly or yearly billing
Pay month to month, or pay for a year up front and get 2 months free. Yearly billing costs the same as 10 months: Solo is $190 a year (about $15.83 a month) and Studio is $590 a year (about $49.17 a month). You choose monthly or yearly when you start your trial, and the 7-day free trial works the same either way.

### Which plan should you pick?
Posting to three accounts or fewer, a few times a week? Free covers it. Up to 15 accounts, a full queue, bulk scheduling or the API, and working alone? Solo. More accounts, teammates or clients to manage? Studio.

### Is this a cheap social media scheduler?
Free costs nothing and Solo is priced for individuals and small businesses at $19 a month with unlimited posts, but "cheap" depends on what you need. If you post rarely to one account, a platform's built-in scheduler may be enough; our guide to [free social media schedulers](https://scheduleforyou.com/blog/best-free-social-media-schedulers) covers those options. When you compare social media scheduling tool prices, weigh them against how many accounts and platforms each one covers.

### Why people upgrade
Most people move to a paid plan for one of four reasons: the queue fills up (10 scheduled posts is about two weeks at a post a day), they add a fourth account, they want to load a month of posts at once with bulk scheduling, or a client needs to approve posts before they go out.

## What's included on Solo and Studio
The paid plans differ only in account limits, team members and support. Everything below comes with both.

### Unlimited posts on all 10 platforms
Publish as often as you like to X, Bluesky, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook Pages, Pinterest and Google Business Profile, with no monthly post caps.

### Planning tools
- **Per-platform captions:** write once, then edit each platform's version on its own, with live character-limit checks.
- **Queue and calendar:** set posting time slots, add posts to the queue and drag them around a calendar.
- **Bulk scheduling:** upload a CSV with media to schedule weeks of posts in one go.
- Drafts, a media library, and repeating and evergreen posts.

### Review and client tools
Use approvals so nothing publishes until it's signed off, send client preview links so clients can approve or comment without creating an account, and share a read-only calendar.

### Automation and developer tools
Auto-post from RSS feeds, send events to Zapier, Make or n8n with webhooks, and build your own integrations with the [REST API](https://scheduleforyou.com/api) or the MCP server. Both paid plans include them.

### Alerts that keep you informed
Failed-post alerts tell you when a platform rejects a post or a connection needs renewing. Reminder emails before posts and a daily digest round it out. These come with Free too.

## What counts as a connected account?
A connected account is one profile, Page or channel you've linked so Schedule For You can publish to it. Your plan sets how many you can connect: 3 on Free, 15 on Solo, 100 on Studio.

### Examples
- One Instagram Business or Creator account counts as one.
- One Facebook Page counts as one.
- One YouTube channel, one Pinterest profile or one Google Business Profile each count as one.

### Several accounts on the same platform
Each account counts on its own. Three Instagram accounts use three of your connected accounts, which is how agencies [post to multiple Instagram accounts](https://scheduleforyou.com/post-to-multiple-instagram-accounts) from one place.

### When you reach your account limit
You can't connect more accounts than your plan allows. If a Facebook login returns more Pages than you have room for, the ones that fit are connected and the rest are skipped, with a note telling you how many. If you move to a smaller plan while you have more accounts than it allows, your oldest accounts keep publishing and the newest ones past the limit are paused until you upgrade or disconnect some.

## How the 7-day free trial works
Every new account starts on Free. When you choose Solo or Studio, you get 7 days of the paid plan free.

### A card is required for the trial
You add a card when you start the trial. You aren't charged during it; the first charge happens on day 8 if you keep your subscription. The Free plan never needs a card.

### Cancel anytime
If it isn't right for you, cancel before day 8 and you won't be charged. You can also cancel later; cancelling stops your plan from renewing.

### What happens when a paid plan ends
The workspace goes back to Free. Your posts, drafts and media stay. Accounts beyond the first 3 are paused, scheduled posts keep publishing, and paid features such as bulk scheduling, RSS, webhooks and the API stop until you upgrade again.

## Refer a friend: give a month, get a month
Every workspace has a referral link, found under **Automations** in the dashboard. Share it anywhere: a pinned post, your newsletter footer, a community you're part of.

### What they get
Anyone who signs up through your link gets a 14-day free trial of a paid plan instead of the usual 7. The same card rule applies: they aren't charged until day 15 and can cancel before then.

### What you get
When someone you referred pays for their first month, one month of your plan is credited to your account: $19 on Solo or $59 on Studio. The credit comes off your next invoice automatically. There's no limit on how many people you can refer, and credits stack, so a few referrals can cover a whole year.

### The small print
- The credit is paid once per referred workspace, after its first successful payment, not at sign-up.
- Referring yourself doesn't count: a new workspace you own through your own link gets no bonus and earns no credit.
- Credits apply to future invoices and aren't paid out in cash. If you cancel, any unused credit stays on your account for when you come back.
- Workspaces created from a yearly plan count the same way: the referrer still receives one month of their own plan.

## Changing or cancelling your plan
The workspace owner manages billing. Open **Billing** from the workspace menu: on Free it shows the plans to upgrade to, and on a paid plan it opens Stripe's secure customer portal, where you can switch between Solo and Studio, update your card, download invoices or cancel. For anything else about billing, contact support. The [change or cancel your plan guide](https://scheduleforyou.com/blog/change-or-cancel-your-plan) walks through each step.

## Frequently asked questions
### How much does a social media scheduler cost?
Prices vary widely between tools. Schedule For You has a Free plan for 3 accounts, Solo at $19 a month for 15 connected accounts and Studio at $59 a month for 100 connected accounts, team members and priority support. The paid plans include unlimited posts, and paying yearly gets you 2 months free.

### Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free connects 3 accounts and holds up to 10 scheduled posts at a time, with no card and no time limit. Posts published from it end with a short link back to Schedule For You when it fits. Bulk scheduling, approvals, the API, RSS and webhooks need Solo or Studio.

### Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. Yearly billing gives you 2 months free: Solo is $190 a year instead of $228, and Studio is $590 a year instead of $708. Pick Yearly when you start your trial. To switch an existing plan between monthly and yearly, contact support.

### Do I need a credit card?
Not for Free. For the 7-day free trial of Solo or Studio, yes: a card is required to start it, you aren't charged until day 8, and you can cancel anytime before then.

### Are posts limited on the cheaper plans?
On Free, up to 10 posts can be scheduled at a time, and more can be scheduled as those publish. Solo and Studio both include unlimited posts; the differences between them are the number of connected accounts, team members and priority support.

### How do I remove the "Scheduled with Schedule For You" line?
Upgrade to Solo or Studio. Paid plans publish exactly what you write. On Free the line is only added when it fits the platform's character limit, so a post at the limit goes out without it.

### Can I switch from Solo to Studio later?
Yes. The workspace owner opens Billing from the workspace menu and changes plan in Stripe's customer portal.

### How do I cancel my subscription?
The workspace owner opens Billing from the workspace menu and cancels in the Stripe portal. Cancelling stops renewal and the workspace moves to Free when the plan ends. If you have a question about a charge, contact support.

### Is the API included on Solo?
Yes. The REST API, the MCP server, webhooks and RSS feeds are part of both paid plans. They aren't available on Free.

### How does the referral program work?
Share the referral link from Automations. People who sign up through it get a 14-day trial of a paid plan instead of 7, and when they pay for their first month you get one month of your plan credited to your next invoice. Credits stack with no cap, and self-referrals don't count.

### When do I receive my referral credit?
After the person you referred makes their first payment, which is at the end of their 14-day trial if they keep the plan. The credit appears on your Stripe invoice as a balance adjustment.

### Is the plan per workspace?

Yes. Each workspace has its own plan and its own account limit. Put the brands you want on one plan in the same workspace, or give a client their own workspace and subscription if you bill them separately.
